Jing Luo

Interests: I am interested in biological invasion, which is a phenomenon that raises a lot of questions regarding the fundamental theories in ecology and evolution. I came to the United States in 2003, and received my Ph.D. degree in Weed Science at The Ohio State University in 2009. My dissertation focused on identifying the biological and ecological traits that might contribute to the success of invasive plant species. I am currently collaborating with Dr. Mercer to investigate the impact of climate change on the phenology of crop and invasive weedy species.
